DOTAP is a monocationic transfection reagent based on liposome technology. Its concentration is 1 mg/ml in a ready-to-use aqueous solution. DOTAP transfects nucleic acids in the presence and absence of serum. It is intended for the transfection of mammalian cells with DNA or antisense oligos.
