The Sovicell TRANSIL Membrane Affinity kit enables researchers to measure the interaction of drugs with a membrane. This in vitro assay is designed to measure the distribution coefficient of test compounds between phosphatidylcholine membranes and an aqueous buffer. We refer to this distribution coefficient as membrane affinity.
